Territory (1) Cost - $7,500

A Screenmobile territory is created geographically by zip codes. The size of each territory will depend on the number of zip codes lumped together to achieve the approximately 100,000 house hold count. Our prime customers are homeowners, therefore each territory must be sized to include a majority of single family owner occupied homes to draw business from. These homeowners can live in houses, condos or town homes. The key factor to approximately determine a proper customer support base per territory, is how many times each one of the homeowners will have need for Screenmobile's products and services in a given time frame, how large the purchase will be and how often will they occur. Another primary factor in the Screenmobile system, is that it targets a particular home owner. We can split the customer base into two groups. One group makes up 80% of the population, which will do their own repair and maintenance themselves. The second group makes up the other 20% that will want a professional service company to do the work and will need Screenmobile's expertise.

You are probably wondering with only 20% of the population in a given territory that will need Screenmobile's services, how will I maintain growth and continued profitability? By doing a little math, we can see the proof. Each territory has 100,000 households and we are looking for only 20% of those homeowners. That means the actual customer base in this territory is 20,000 households. Based on a twenty year history of success of Screenmobile, we have found that the average existing location does between 5-8 jobs a day. Working 6 days a week, that's 48 jobs a week. With 4 weeks in a month, the total jobs per month is 194. If you divide this total into 20,000 households that comprise the territory, you have the total number of months that it would take to complete the first sale for each one of these households. It would take on the average, 103 months or 8 ½ years to complete this task! Better yet, Screenmobile averages three additional visits to every customer for needed sales and services.
