Ongoing Training
The key ingredient to Screenmobile's success, is our training program. Screenmobile is known for it's comprehensive training, both our initial 8 days and the continued training we provide. This ongoing training is provided through our support website, business mentoring program and in-field visits by a corporate staff member
when necessary. It also is provided through our semi annual regional meetings and our annual convention meeting. We understand that training is an ongoing experience and we provide the means to stay on the cutting edge of the industry knowledge and standards
Our Initial Training Program is separated into segments consisting of Administration, Marketing, Sales, Office and Production. For the first two and one half days, you will not even realize that you joined a screening franchise. These first days are spent on understanding business knowledge, including how to read an accounting report, how to set prices, and developing business structure. These sessions are interactive and paced at individual learning levels. Once we have covered basic business knowledge, then marketing and sales modules are added. Building upon these skill sets will be office and production training, which is the key to operating a Screenmobile franchise successfully. These sessions will consist of verbal, written and hands on participation using multimedia to facilitate the training. We know that we cannot convey everything that you will need to learn in these 8 days alone. That is why
this training class is set up to teach the building blocks of your business knowledge. It is through our continued support once you leave your initial training that we nurture your skills and abilities to get you up and running confidently.
Regional meetings, typically held in August, are a one-day event for established affiliates. These meetings, located in one of seven geographic zones, cover issues of greatest concern and interest to our operators. You will find a key unspoken component to Screenmobile success is the synergy developed by business owners attending these meetings. In this regard, plenty of time is set aside for group discussion and interaction. Established operators are always willing to assist newer affiliates at these meetings. There is no charge to attend these regional meetings.
Annual Conventions are held every year. Usually held at larger venues where flights and accommodations are accessible to a nationwide franchise. During conventions, affiliates can choose from a variety of sessions, product showcases and meet successful operators and have fun! Attendance at both the regional and annual conventions is extremely important, as you keep up to date on new developments and products in the screen industry.
Screenmobile is keenly aware that support during your first year of operation is crucial with focus on a successful start-up period. Your Business Advisor will guide you through the most difficult stage of starting your business, getting it up and running. Our Franchise Support Staff is familiar with the best practices of our most successful operators and will help you implement those practices into your business. Continuing education and support will be a feature of your affiliation with Screenmobile, and will be a never-ending vehicle for your success.
